You can use frozen grilled eel to make a delicious eel rice.
Ingredients: one frozen grilled eel of about 200 grams, 2 bowls of white rice, 3 tablespoons of mirin, 3 tablespoons of sake, 3 tablespoons of Japanese soy sauce, and 2 tablespoons of honey.
How to make eel rice:
1. Pour mirin, sake and Japanese soy sauce into the pot and bring to a boil.
2. After the alcohol smell evaporates slightly, pour in the honey and let the sauce boil for 1 or 2 minutes until it thickens slightly. Pour it into a bowl for later use.
3. Add a few drops of oil to the pan, heat the pan, and put the thawed grilled eel skin down.
4. Fry the eel on both sides over low heat until it is charred, for a total of about 5 to 8 minutes.
5. Cut the fried eel into small pieces, put a small half bowl of white rice in a bowl, put a few pieces of eel on it, and pour a spoonful of the sauce prepared before. Add a layer of rice, top with the eel, and pour appropriate amount of sauce on it.
